Parade comes to attention in the Market Square

   

The Mayor inspects the parade, young and old

The Mayor leads civic leaders and councillors from the town hall to the war memorial

Avonbank Brass Band leads the parade of service men and woman from veterans to youngsters, down Bridge Street to the war memorial in Abbey Park.

   

The Mayor lays the first wreath on behalf of the Town Council and people of Evesham

A moving service is held including the two minute silence followed by the wreath laying from local authority and organisations from around the area.

   

The parade moves off and marches to All Saints Church

The Mayor takes the salute as the bands and service organisations march past

The service is followed by refreshments in the public hall and the opportunity for some photo's with the veterans and charity organisations.

"When you go home, tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow, we gave our today."
